A Master of Cosmetic Breast Surgery in New York
After graduating from Yale College, Dr. Philip Godfrey received his combined dental and medical degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and the Medical College of Pennsylvania. He took his post-graduate training in dental and oral surgery at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, and his general surgery residency at Hartford Hospital. He completed his plastic surgery residency at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center. In addition, he studied reconstruction of the breast and other cancer-related deformities at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Dr. Philip Godfrey is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Cancer Society in Queens and the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. He is Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at Weill Medical College of Cornell University and Attending in Plastic Surgery at St. Vincent's Hospital and Medical Center. He is co-director of Plastic Surgery at The New York Hospital Queens. He specializes in cosmetic surgery of the breast and abdomen, and liposculpture. (Procedures: breast augmentation; breast lift; abdominoplasty ("tummy tuck"); liposuction and liposculpture.)

Dr. Godfrey is a contributor to the programs of The Foundation for Reconstructive Plastic Surgery. He has contributed his surgical skills to their pro bono, "Hope" program, and has lectured and authored educational software for their professional and public education programs.
